A year at our school

DOVES

DOVES is a forum for interaction between students, NSW education and the NSW Minister for Education. Three students from each of the 9 NSW directorates sits on this council, and these 27 students represent the voices of 790,000 students. We are proud to have Vienna chosen as one of the statewide DOVES representatives.

Easter Hat Parade

The Easter Hat Parade is a joyful celebration filled with creativity and community spirit. Students showcase colourful, imaginative hats, spreading happiness and festive cheer. It is a wonderful opportunity for everyone to come together and enjoy the Easter season in a fun, engaging way!

Agriculture

Our 7-12 Ag program offers hands-on learning with school sheep, daily care of chickens, vegetable growing and access to the school farm. Students gain practical skills, foster responsibility, and connect with nature through engaging agricultural experiences that are supported by our local community's agricultural expertise.

Excursions

Our school offers free travel on all excursions using the school bus, including curriculum-based trips. Primary visit Bendigo, the Pioneer Settlement, Ballarat, Echuca, Gol Gol Immersion Centre & Canberra. Year 7 students enjoy a free transition to high school excursion early each Term 1. High schoolers explore capital cities & coastal destinations, enriching their learning experiences.

Breakfast Club

Our free Brekky Club runs daily, offering cereal, toasties, fruit, and drinks in a warm, welcoming environment. Proudly sponsored by Maari Ma Health Service and Food Bank, it ensures every student starts the day nourished and ready to learn with a smile. Join us in the school hall from 8.30-9.00 each morning!
